Legacy Giving

Preserve the Sutter Buttes legacy

Planned gifts provide the resources to create extraordinary opportunities — funding the long-horizon projects that protect this region for good. You can name the Land Trust in your will, designate a gift of land or an easement, or make a gift of stock or retirement assets. We recommend speaking with your estate attorney.
Ways to give a legacy
Bequest — name the Land Trust in your will or living trust
Gift of land — donate property outright or through your estate
Easement by will — direct that an easement be granted upon your death
Stock or IRA — gifts of appreciated assets or retirement distributions
Wear the Mission

Protect the working lands that feed the world

Our limited-edition campaign shirts directly fund the outreach that reaches every landowner and nature lover in Colusa, Sutter, and Yuba counties.
